Ready To Dominate Google?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has been the driving factor behind every major website for the last ten years. Zillow would be just a funny name if they were not successful at outranking other real-estate websites in search engine rankings.
There is an old riddle: Where do you hide a dead body? On Page 2 of Google! Everyone has gotten that call . . . I’m from the so-called SEO Consultant who says they can get your website on the front page of Google. . . blah blah blah.” That doesn’t work by the way—and that’s NOT what we do at One Click SEO.

The Search Terrain: Portals, Brokerages, and the AI Layer
Real estate search is a three-front war. The portals — Zillow, Realtor.com, Homes.com — own the generic inventory terms with domain authority no brokerage will out-spend. The winnable ground is everywhere the portals are structurally weak: market-level and neighborhood-level intent, where genuine local knowledge beats listing feeds; brand and agent entities, where a brokerage’s own name, teams, and people should be uncontested; and now the AI answer layer, where ChatGPT and AI Overviews recommend brokerages and agents directly — composed from entity data most real estate companies have never structured.
We’ve fought this war longer and at more scales than any agency we know of: single agents, top-producing teams, independent brokerages, and a national franchise network. The patterns below are the ones that survived.
Franchise & multi-office architecture
Multi-location real estate lives or dies on entity separation: each office its own LocalBusiness entity with its own geography, reviews, and pages — on a shared technical backbone so a new franchise launches with structure instead of starting from zero. This is the architecture we built for 1 Percent Lists, embedded before their first listing and still engineering the network at 60+ offices across 24 states, including the recent rebuild of the corporate site and every franchise site in the system.
Team entity engineering
A producing team’s most valuable search asset is its own name — and most teams scatter it across inconsistent profiles and an unindexable IDX. Done right, the team, the rainmaker, and every member resolve into one coherent knowledge-graph entity that wins both branded search and “best realtor in [market]” intent. That’s nine years of our work with the Heather Murphy Group — $2B+ closed, 7,700+ families, the #1 KW team in Greater Savannah.
IDX without the crawl tax
Most IDX integrations render listings in ways crawlers can’t index — JavaScript walls and thin duplicated pages that burn crawl budget while contributing nothing. Enterprise real estate sites need crawlable listing paths, canonical discipline against MLS churn, and the neighborhood hub pages that hold rankings while inventory turns over. We’ve rebuilt this layer enough times that we changed IDX vendors over it.
MLS-aware structured data
Listings, offices, agents, and service areas each have schema vocabularies that real estate sites almost universally waste. Our deployments wire RealEstateListing, RealEstateAgent, and Offer structures to live inventory — the machine-readable layer that AI engines retrieve when someone asks for “homes under $500k in [market]” or “a good listing agent near me.”
Enterprise Real Estate SEO Questions, Answered Straight
Can a brokerage actually compete with Zillow?
Not for “homes for sale [major city]” — and budgets die chasing it. But portals can’t write neighborhood expertise, can’t be the named answer for “best brokerage in [market],” and can’t own your brand entity. The compounding play is winning the intent portals are structurally unable to serve, while your IDX captures the inventory long tail they leave on the table.
How does SEO work for a real estate franchise?
As entity architecture: every office gets its own local entity, pages, and review flow on a shared technical backbone, so the brand compounds nationally while each franchise wins its own market. We run this at 60+ offices and 24 states for 1 Percent Lists — it is the most-proven playbook in our portfolio.
What about AI search — do buyers really ask ChatGPT about real estate?
Increasingly, yes: market questions, relocation comparisons, and “who should I use” recommendations. The engines compose those answers from structured entities, reviews, and citable market content. Real estate is one of the least entity-structured industries on the web, which makes the first-mover window unusually wide.
Do you work with individual agents or only enterprises?
The architecture scales both directions — we run national franchise networks and we run top-producing teams. What we protect is exclusivity: one client per competitive market, because we cannot engineer two clients into the same answer box and be straight with both.
How long until a real estate campaign produces closings?
Neighborhood and market terms typically move in 3 to 6 months; brand-entity and AI-answer presence often faster once the structured data ships. The honest math is pipeline math — a ranked neighborhood page produces buyer leads month after month at zero marginal cost, which is the compounding the portals charge you to rent.
